FAQ

1. What types of landscaping services do you offer?

We offer residential and commercial services including weekly and seasonal yard maintenance, sprinkler system installation and repair, decorative rock and bark installation, spring/fall clean-ups, lawn aeration, and winter snow removal. We also handle one-time cleanups for overgrown or neglected properties.

2. Do you provide free estimates?

Yes. We’ll visit your property, assess the scope, and provide a clear written quote—no pressure or obligation. Just honest pricing to help you plan your project or ongoing care.

3. How do I know which landscaping services I need?

If you’re unsure, we’ll evaluate your lawn, irrigation, and materials during an on-site visit and recommend a plan based on your goals, budget, and how you use your outdoor space.

4. Do you work year-round?

Yes. We service all four seasons in Northern Utah—mowing, irrigation, planting, and clean-ups in spring/summer; leaf removal and winterization in fall; snow removal and off-season planning in winter.

5. What areas do you serve?

D & D Landscaping serves Northern Utah communities across Box Elder, Cache, Weber, and Davis counties and nearby areas. Contact us to confirm service for your address.

6. What should I expect during a landscaping project?

We communicate timelines, arrive on time, protect your property, and work efficiently. For larger projects, we share progress updates. After completion, we clean up and walk the site with you.

7. Can you help with sprinkler repairs or installation?

Absolutely. We design, install, and maintain sprinkler systems, fix broken heads and pressure issues, and offer smart controllers and water-efficient upgrades to reduce waste and bills.

8. Do I need to be home during service?

Not usually. As long as we have access, we can complete most services. Please let us know about pets, locked gates, or special instructions ahead of time.

9. How often should I replace decorative bark or rock?

Bark typically needs refreshing every 1–3 years depending on exposure and traffic. Rock lasts longer but may need top-offs or edging touch-ups every few years to keep a clean look.

10. Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. D & D Landscaping is fully licensed and insured. We’re happy to provide proof upon request and prioritize safety, professionalism, and accountability on every job.
